The Tampico chess club is collaborating on this project.
This club was founded on September 12, 1963 by Luis Yáñez Pérez, now deceased. He worked hard for the development of chess in the state of Tamaulipas. Its current president is José N. Campos Martínez, who is also extremely active in his club and throughout the region.
